Good Afternoon Stingrays!

It seems like we were just swimming CHAMPS, but somehow, here we are, already talking about the 2026 Stingray season.

We will hold our Fall tryouts for the 2026 season on Saturday, September 20th from 9am-11am at the Capistrano pool. If you're receiving this email, you most likely already have kids on the team. If your current swimmers have younger siblings that would like to be Stingrays too, please feel free to join us. Please also spread the word to anyone you know in the neighborhood who might have first-time swimmers. We'd love to see a lot of new faces at tryouts. We'll also be posting flyers at Baranoff.

A few important things to note regarding tryouts:

• This is only for new team members. If your kids(s) are, or have been on the team before, YOU DO NOT NEED TO TRY OUT.
• There is no sign up sheet for tryouts. Just come by during the available time frame.
• Swimmers should be able to demonstrate that they can swim across the pool in one minute unassisted and without touching the bottom.
• They do not have to swim any particular stroke.
• We will do a second tryout in the Spring, shortly before the season starts.
