From the desk of Michael Bribiesca, our Merchandise Captain:

To all former, current and future Stingrays, as well as their friends, family members and general acquaintances...We are bringing back the 2025 Stingray t-shirt design competition! Both kiddos and adults can participate, but obviously we prefer those that have a connection to the Stingray Family.
We will, as always, have our Stingray Registration shirt with our logo on the front and our amazing sponsors on the back. Those will be given out to the swimmers along with their registration and be available for purchase by the general populace.
HOWEVER, it is our opinion that we are sitting on a hotbed of design talent in this community and we'd be foolish not to tap into that incredible resource for our secondary t-shirt design, which is meant to be more playful, stylish, whimsical, etc. 

To that end, we will be accepting submissions for this secondary t-shirt until the deadline of February 28th. That's almost 2 full months to get your winning design turned in. 

Some considerations and requirements: 

- Vector design formats are preferred (EPS, AI, PDF). If you are submitting a vector file, please make sure you include an easily readable accompanying file for easy viewing and voting (PDF, JPG) 

- If you or your kiddo opt to hand-draw your design, we can work with our t-shirt printing company to have in converted to vector format OR if you opt to scan it in, please ensure that the design is at the full printable size on the t-shirt at a minimum of 300 DPI

- The more colors, the more costly the shirt will be to print, which will absolutely be a consideration when judging the designs. 4 colors or less is preferable 

- Send your t-shirt design submissions, along with your name, to Bribs: shstingraygenmember1@gmail.com 

Remember, have fun with the creative process. Capture the Stingray spirit, but also be mindful of what design may be attractive to a wide audience of potential purchasers (swimmers, siblings, parents, grandparents, etc).
