Practice
Please note, practice times remain the same for this week. The practice schedule is posted at https://shadyhollow.swimtopia.com/.
Meet and Volunteer Signup
Please sign up for the Stingray vs Seals meet before the registration closes at noon on Thursday. If you can't make the meet please select the option "Not attending this meet". If you are still having trouble signing your swimmer up for a meet, please email a board member for help. In addition to signing up your swimmer, please select a volunteer position for each meet. We need everyone's help to make our meets a success!
Next Meet
Our next meet is away against the Circle C Seals on May 13th. The theme is BLUE OUT FOR STINGRAYS!
It can get pretty hot out there! Please remember to bring water and sunscreen for your swimmers during practice and at the meet. Bug spray isn't a bad idea either!
Photos
Please take lots of photos for our end-of-year slide show. We will provide the location to send them next week.
Junior Rays
Junior Rays registration will open in late May on our website. The cost is $130 for the first child and $115 for each additional child.
Again, this is a program for younger swimmers, not quite ready for swim team. The goal of Junior Rays is to teach these young swimmers to swim across the pool unassisted. Swimmers signed up for Junior Rays should be able to motor at least 10 feet unassisted in the water as a prerequisite. The Coaching staff will be working with these swimmers on swimming farther, breath exchange, and freestyle & backstroke.
