Dear Stingray, Shady Hollow and Swim Families, 

As you know, the Stingray Board has approved a summer swim season for 2021…GO YOU MIGHTY STINGRAYS! As a result of our hard work to make a swim season happen this year, we are seeing other communities within the CCSL commit to having a swim season as well. This is very exciting news but there are still a lot of details to finalize. The Board is working very hard to provide you information on the season as soon as we have it solidified. Season dates may be updated as we have more information from other teams. Stay tuned!

Since we have other communities/teams in the CCSL that are still not participating in a 2021 swim season, the Stingray’s will need to provide clear direction of our registration process for this season. We appreciate the support and understanding from the swimming community with this process as we know that, in our hearts, we all just want our kids in the water.

The Stingray Board is doing everything we can to get as many of our residents swimming as possible. Please note we will have enforced age group participant limitations to adhere to safety standards. We will be continually monitoring the capacity for both the team and individual age groups, and the Board retains the right to close any registration age group upon its discretion. CCSL has also decided to allow swimmers that graduated last year to participate this year since their final season was canceled. If you have any questions about this exemption, please reach out to a Board member.

Here are the guidelines for registration for the Shady Hollow Stingray team for the 2021 season:

• May 1 - May 21: Shady Hollow Residents who are current with their HOA dues will be allowed to register. All names/addresses will be validated during this process. Validated resident registration will be accepted so long as there is available space within their age group. Non-residents will be declined registration during this period.
• May 22 - May 31: This period will be to allow prior Stingray swimmers who have been on the team in previous years but are not Shady Hollow residents to register. We will still be adhering to the age group limitations during this period.
• June 1 - The Stingray Board will determine, if any available slots are open, the best option for allowing fairness in registration at this point in time. We will post, no later than May 22, the guidelines for the open spots and how to register for them.
• Please note that each registration will require a COVID waiver to be signed.
